In a marketplace hungry for originality (Hadestown, Hamilton, West Side Story immersive theater, anime-inspired visuals),
SongShip Argosy occupies a unique and timely space.
In a galaxy ravaged by endless wars, the Preenz of Planet Sufrut dreams of peace through music. He builds
SongShip Argosy, a vessel staffed not by soldiers but by musicians, poets, dancers, and programmers. Its mission: to
collect and share the music of every civilization—including Earth. The Preenz appoints his brilliant but ruthless sister,
the Kontessa of Turfus, to co-command the ship alongside a wise Admiral. Secretly, the Kontessa weaponizes the
Argosy’s sonic technology, destroying the musical abilities of the Kanoos, a proud race of robotic-humanoid
musicians. Reduced to rhythm but stripped of melody, the Kanoos become tools of her ambition. Together, they
destroy the Palace of Sufrut, killing the Preenz and his family—except for a baby girl, Sorana, and her Nanny, who
survives and is hidden away in a space orphanage.
DECADES LATER. Sorana has grown into a radiant young woman with a mysterious, healing voice. As political
alliances form and a royal wedding approaches, secrets unravel: Sorana’s royal lineage, the Kontessa’s betrayal, and the
truth about the Kanoos. In the climactic wedding ceremony, music—once weaponized—becomes liberation. Sorana leads a
children’s choir, proving that harmony can be restored. Forgiveness replaces vengeance. Music reclaims its power as a
force for unity.
