ACT 2
A charismatic, wise, and dignified leader, The Admiral guides the SongShip Argosy with compassion and conviction. He is a seasoned educator and visionary who believes that peace is possible through the power of music. Though firm in his convictions, he is a great listener who inspires others through his quiet strength. The Admiral is often the moral compass of the play — a fatherly figure to Captain Miguel and a guardian of the Argosy’s musical mission.
Miguel is an honorable and sensitive soldier of the Universe with a soul made of melody. He is an idealist — a passionate musician who composes multilingual songs in search of the perfect voice. Pure-hearted and humble, Miguel is driven by intuition and destiny. He wears a unique Argodisian helmet, which enhances his hearing and connects him to the deeper harmonies of the cosmos. His journey is one of self-discovery and revelation.
Orphaned as a baby and raised in a cyber-orphanage, Sorana is a radiant soul whose voice is as mystical as it is healing. Blonde, graceful, and filled with genuine joy, she teaches harmony to children and seeks to uplift others through song. Her love is deep, fearless, and true — though she knows nothing of her royal origins. Sorana’s awakening to her identity mirrors her spiritual power as a bridge between galaxies, music, and justice.
A former captain of the SS Argosy, The Kontessa is elegant, intelligent, and deeply manipulative. Power-hungry and emotionally cold, she views music as a tool for dominance rather than peace. She orchestrated the betrayal that destroyed Planet Sufrut and placed Sorana in hiding. Now, obsessed with controlling the Argosy and arranging her son’s marriage to Sorana, the Kontessa is a tragic villain — regal, ruthless, and deluded by her ambitions.
A conflicted young man trapped in his mother’s schemes, the Count is engaged to Sorana without truly knowing her — or himself. Artistic and curious, he dreams of building things, not ruling them. When he uncovers Sorana’s true identity and the Kontessa’s dark past, he must choose between family loyalty and moral awakening.
The Kanoos are a strange race of Yellow/Robot/Humanoid Musician beings who once had great musical talent, now cursed by silence after their home world’s destruction. Though dismissed as “unmusical,” they possess incredible rhythm and emotion. Kanoo-Kanoo leads the resistance not for revenge, but for recognition and justice. His confrontations with the Kontessa reveal decades of broken promises and buried truth.
Zona Bella is a bold, flirtatious, and slightly sarcastic anchorwoman for the Galactic Music Corporation. With a curvy blonde persona and expressive body language, she injects glamor and humor into the news segments that pulse through the show. Underneath her glamor is an astute observer who plays a critical role in revealing truths on air.
A deaf-mute woman of color who raised Sorana from infancy. Though silent, she communicates through music, movement, and deep emotional presence. She occasionally doubles as a singer-dancer, providing visual poetry and quiet wisdom. Her loyalty is unshakable — a maternal protector who sees all and guards Sorana’s destiny.
An enigmatic figure who appears with a Cyberdivise, weaving the story together with voice, memory, and futuristic tech. Symbolizes the next generation who inherits the lessons of the SongShip.
Ensemble cast who portray virtual and live performers, from planetary musicians to dreamlike figures. Some appear only through projection or motion capture — blending live theater with animation.
An ensemble of virtual children (inspired by Hatsune Miku-style holography) with realistic digital voices. They represent the lost voices of the galaxy, ultimately led by Sorana in a symbolic musical procession of hope and healing.
An AI entity programmed to conduct cosmic ceremonies. He officiates the wedding with a haunting operatic aria.
